Literacy
As an edTech student and professional, the ability to read and write is vital to stay updated on current trends, tools, and educational research. However, literacy in edTech is not just about reading and writing. Literacy in edTech is also action and application. EdTech literacy requires taking information and creating a variety of mediums to share information, whether they are typed, recorded, or filmed. Furthermore, Literacy in edTech may be taking information and determining the best course of action on how to instruct our education stakeholders.
This is my perspective on edTech Literacy. This perspective is apparent in the variety of artifacts I have created below. There are two traditional forms of literacy to showcase my ability to read and write. Both of these artifacts, argumentative essays, present responses to growing issues and concerns in edTech.
However, I have also included two other artifacts that showcase the multifaceted nature of edTech literacy. These artifacts, professional development multimedia trainings, showcase my abilities as an edTech professional.
